Today's world is very different our grandparent's.

The soil is depleted, foods are not as nutritious, our diets contain less diversity, and disease rates are through the roof for illnesses that were almost nonexistent 100 years ago.  As a society, many are overweight, undernourished, overstimulated and stressed out.  Our foods contain unpronounceable ingredients that are invented in labs.  We are also "fed" massive amounts of misinformation from the media.  


As an Integrative Nutrition* Health Coach, I create a supportive environment that helps you wade through all the information about what you "should" do to be healthy and help you tune back into what your body is trying to tell you.  I will enable you to articulate and achieve your goals. Our sessions are tailored to your individual needs.  There is no "one size fits all" diet or lifestyle, and together we will explore what is best for you.  


Most approaches to healthy eating focus on calorie counting, dietary restrictions, and bad information about what is healthy and what is not. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and "good" and "bad" foods, I coach my clients to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together.  My clients will learn how to realize what foods and lifestyle choices NOURISH the body, mind and soul.  Together we will explore how to make better choices for better health and a better life!

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship(s) cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole. 

Wellness Experience

My education has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention. Drawing on my expertise, I work with my clients to help make lifestyle changes and choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, and happiness.

 

Bio-individual Coaching

As a health coach, I work with my clients to get in touch with their body’s needs because I understand that life happens and your needs will change. I want to equip you with the self-awareness to make the best decisions for yourself in any given circumstance. I believe each person is fully capable of making well-informed decisions as their own expert, without relying on the latest magazine article, fad diet book, media misinformation, or biased scientific study.
